Orlando Health is seeking a Pathology Laboratory Assistant to support our pathology team by processing specimens, maintaining laboratory operations, assisting with autopsy preparation, and ensuring accurate handling of pathology materials. This role is essential to delivering timely and high-quality diagnostic services.

What You'll Do:

• Receive and accession pathology specimens
• Prepare and organize tissue samples for processing
• File and retrieve slides, blocks, and specimens
• Support frozen section processing and laboratory workflows
• Maintain laboratory equipment and work areas
• Ensure compliance with safety, infection control, and quality standards

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced laboratory environment
