Manual Milling Machinist

6:00 a.m. - 2:30 p.m.
JOB SUMMARY:
Set up, program, and operate machine and produce production parts to required specifications.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following.

1. Set up, Program and Run Machine
2. Understand and select tooling
3. Produce parts within required tolerances and specifications
4. Responsible for keeping work area clean and neat
5. Follow all safety rules regarding machine operation and proper guarding
6. Maintain simple reports such as time sheets and work orders
7. Must be able to read and interpret blueprints
8. Strong Communication Skills
9. Must be able to maintain concentration
10. Must be able to work while standing
11. Ability to lift, push and pull over 25 lbs.
12. On-site attendance required

QUALIFICATIONS:

1. Minimum one to two (1-2) years' experience of machining
2. Knowledge of Lathes, Grinding, Turning and Multi Axis machines as well as their functions
3. Must be familiar with types and names of controls such as Fanuc, Milltronics and Prototrak (preferred)
4. Knowledge of Programming and use of G & M codes

**Other duties as assigned by management.
