Group: Road

Position: Drainage Engineer

Location: Tampa or Orlando, FL

 

We are looking for a team oriented and technically gifted  Drainage Engineer to become the next integral member of our Florida Road Group.  

Responsibilities

  • Provide FDOT Roadway Support, particularly focusing on drainage design and implementation 

  • Lead permitting efforts, ensuring compliance with WMD Permitting Processes 

  • Lead pond siting activities, utilizing best practices and analysis methods 

  • Assist in pursuit activities related to drainage projects, contributing technical expertise 

  • Mentor junior staff members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and development 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field 
  • Florida Professional Engineer (PE) license
  • Proficiency in FDOT Drainage preferences
  • Familiarity with WMD Permitting Processes
  • Experience in pond siting methodologies
  • Strong proficiency in ICPR/HECRAS software 
  • Other duties as assigned
