Responsibilities

• Register patients, including collecting co-payments, coinsurance, personal and insurance information.
• Verify insurance eligibility and benefits for patients.
• Utilize typing skills for accurate data entry.
• Maintain health information management systems.
• Assist with inquiries related to insurance providers.
• Collaborate with clinical staff to ensure seamless patient flow.
• Address any discrepancies or issues related to patient records.

Skills

• Familiarity with health insurance processes and regulations.
• Experience with Epic is a plus.
• Strong typing skills for efficient data entry.
• Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail for documentation review.
• Ability to manage health information effectively while maintaining confidentiality.
• Strong interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with patients and staff.
