We are currently looking for an Assistant Production Supervisor for our 2nd shift to join our team onsite in our Orlando, FL office. The Assistant Production Supervisor will oversee activities for the 2nd Shift departments. This position will be responsible for monitoring employees on 2nd shift, ensuring production expectations and company procedures.  This role is a split of direct labor and overhead and reports directly to the operations department. Responsibilities: Supervision of hourly employees Perform production duties as assigned, may include preform production, metrology duties or other tasks within the production area Communicate job expectations and monitoring employee performance Ensure all outputs meet quality standards by enforcing organization requirements Enforce a safe and clean working environment including 5s Maintain and practice compliance with company policies and procedures Coach employees as needed to enforce company procedures Maintain safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations. Perform other duties as assigned. QualificationsKnowledge, ability and skills: Generate creative and alternative solutions Ability to identify issues and resolve them in a timely manner Able to work independently as well as in a group such as for group problem solving situations Ability to manage time wisely in order to meet deadlines General knowledge of planning, scheduling, and budgeting projects Strive for continuous improvement on an organizational level with regard to processes, procedures, final products, and customer service Demonstrate attention to detail Provide autonomy once expectation set and provide recognition for results Able to read, comprehend, and apply complex information Fast learner, driven problem solver Outgoing personality, professional demeanor with excellent work ethic Proficient at using manufacturing software, ERP Systems, Microsoft Word, Excel Outlook, PowerPoint, and the internet Frequently required to walk, talk, and hear Occasional standing and reaching with hands and arms required Must regularly lift and /or move up to 50 pounds Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus Occasional exposure to the following: work near moving mechanical parts, toxic or caustic chemicals, risk of electrical shock, and risk of radiation. Able to work with moderate amounts of noise Must be able to read, write, and speak fluently in English   Experience/Qualifications: A.A or A.S from two (2) year college or university or a minimum of ten (10) years of related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of experience and education. Expertise in MIL specs, ITAR regulations, ISO and ANSI specifications Must be authorized to work and reside in the US and must be eligible for any required authorizations from the U.S. Government to confirm with but not limited to U.S. export control regulations (ITAR), but not limited to U.S. export (ITAR) guidelines. Valid driver’s license
