Job DetailsJob Location: Orlando - Orlando, FL 32801Position Type: Full TimePosition Title: Assistant Project Manager/Document Controls Work Location: Orlando, Florida.  Project Office, Orange County Convention Center Job Type: Full-Time The Role We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Assistant Project Manager with expertise in Document Controls to support project delivery, coordination, and comprehensive document management for a large, active construction program. This hybrid role combines core project management responsibilities with hands-on document control duties, requiring close collaboration with the Owner and construction teams and a strong on-site presence. The successful candidate will oversee all project documentation, ensuring its accuracy, accessibility, and compliance with industry standards, which is essential for the successful execution of our projects. Responsibilities: Support the Project Management team with day-to-day project coordination and administrative functions Manage and maintain project documentation, including submittals, RFIs, meeting minutes, correspondence, and logs Ensure document control processes comply with established project procedures and Owner requirements Coordinate document workflows across consultants, contractors, and stakeholders using the project management information system Assist with meeting preparation, action item tracking, and follow-up Support schedule, cost, and change management activities as needed Maintain clear, organized, and audit-ready project records QualificationsRequired Skills and Experience: Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, or architecture, with a minimum of 5 years of experience, or a related bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 9 years of experience in Project/Construction Management. Basic understanding of project management principles, including scope, time, cost, and risk management. Ability to attend an in-person interview in Orlando and Availability to work onsite full-time. Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office Strong knowledge of document control and other project management information software. Soft Skills: Strong interpersonal and communication skills to interact effectively with stakeholders. Excellent organizational abilities to manage multiple tasks and deadlines. Self-motivated, with the ability to work independently and take initiative.
