Responsibilities:
- Provide expert legal advice on immigration matters, including visas, green cards, and citizenship applications.
- Prepare and review legal documents, petitions, and applications for accuracy and compliance.
- Represent clients in immigration hearings and proceedings before government agencies.
- Conduct legal research to stay updated on immigration laws and policies.
- Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and develop tailored legal strategies.
- Maintain detailed case files and documentation for all client interactions.
- Assist in the training and mentorship of junior staff and interns.
- Participate in community outreach and educational seminars on immigration issues.
Requirements:
- Active bar license in Florida or eligibility to obtain one.
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- 2+ years of experience in immigration law preferred.
- Strong understanding of immigration processes and regulations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Passion for helping clients navigate complex immigration issues.
