Holland Pump:Â Â Field Tech / CDL at Holland Pump will exercising safe driving habits with care and regard for others and the company vehicle. The position requires mechanical ability and physical stamina while maintaining good sense and safe judgment as well as having the ability to communicate well to our customers upon a service call, delivery or pick-up. The position also requires that the individual is flexible in nature as the daily task assignments can change often. The position requires a daily work schedule that can occasionally lead to long days with overtime necessary to complete the tasks at hand. Â
Specific duties may include:
- Treating customers in a friendly and professional manner
- Adhering to assigned delivery schedule and following all job directives precisely
- Obeying all regulatory agency and company safety directives
- Completing a thorough load check on your truck before leaving branch, ensuring that all delivery materials are firmly secured, and all parts of your truck are in compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations
- Obeying all traffic laws and weight limits
- Completing and filing all logs and required government paperwork in a precise and timely manner
- Responsibilities may include warehouse work, including loading and unloading of materials on to or off trucks or into warehouse as assigned
- This position requires a CDL
- This position does not require over the road travel (is not just driving but offloading and loading)
Specific qualifications include:
- Valid Driver's License
- The ability to lift 75lbs consistently
- Pre-employment drug screen and random drug screens are required
- Ability to stand, bend, climb, twist, and reach throughout complete shift
- Medical card
- Delivery      Â
