On the ground, dnata USA keeps 27 of the country’s major airports connected – both with each other and the world - including John F. Kennedy Airport in New York City. Handling 200,000 tonnes of cargo, guiding 15,000,000 passengers and keeping 50,000 flights in the air each year, the work that the dnata USA team complete on the ground is crucial to keeping the country in the air.

As a dnata Central Load Controller (CLC), you manage, lead, direct and coordinate all activities related to the safe loading of aircraft.  

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities 

 

  • Manages, leads, directs, coordinates the activities of the operations group loading the aircraft.  

  • Aware of, and the ability to follow, airline specific guidelines.  

  • Ensure that accurate weight and balance data is generated to support safe, compliant, and efficient flight operations.  

  • Accurately distributes and completes all load control.  

  • Make sound decisions and prioritize workload to effectively manage operational needs.  

  • Runs main deck controls for aircraft loading/unloading of cargo.  

  • Ensure compliance with dnata, TSA and Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) regulations and policies.  

  • Other duties as assigned.  

  • Can meet the Station’s attendance standards.

  • Specific shifts to be determined by administrative staff due to operational needs.  

  • Must be able to work extended hours on short notice during irregular operation.  

  • Ability to work in inclement weather.
