Twin Med, LLC. is currently searching for a DOWN STOCKER in our Distribution Center located in Orlando, FL. The successful applicant must be able to maintain adequate inventory levels, optimizes space utilization, and facilitate efficient product retrieval to meet customer demand.

Responsibilities

  • Receive incoming merchandise shipments and verify accuracy of received items against packing lists or purchase orders.
  • Unload merchandise from delivery trucks or shipping containers and transport them to designated storage areas using appropriate equipment (e.g., hand trucks, pallet jacks).
  • Inspect merchandise for any damage, defects, or discrepancies, and report any issues to the appropriate supervisor or manager.
  • Stock shelves, racks, or bins with merchandise according to established procedures, ensuring proper organization, labeling, and presentation.
  • Rotate stock and arrange merchandise to maintain freshness, visibility, and accessibility for customers or warehouse personnel.
  • Monitor inventory levels and replenish stock as needed to meet customer demand and minimize out-of-stock situations.
  • Perform periodic inventory counts and stock audits to ensure accuracy of inventory records and identify discrepancies or variances.
  • Assist with restocking and refilling merchandise displays, promotional areas, or sales floor fixtures to enhance visual appeal and drive sales.
  • Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the work area, including shelves, storage bins, and aisles, to ensure a safe and hygienic environment.
  • Adhere to safety protocols, including proper handling of merchandise, operation of equipment, and use of personal protective equipment (PPE) to prevent accidents or injuries.

Requirements

  • Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in retail, warehouse, or inventory management preferred.
  • Ability to lift and move heavy objects, bend, stoop, and stand for extended periods.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling merchandise and inventory records.
  • Good communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Basic math skills for counting, sorting, and recording inventory quantities.
  • Familiarity with inventory management systems or software is a plus.
  • Flexibility to work during peak business hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Reliable and punctual attendance to ensure coverage during scheduled shifts.
  • Commitment to upholding company policies, procedures, and standards of conduct.

 

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to operate an electronic pallet jack experience preferred, but not required
  • Required to be able to lift 50-70 lbs. safely
  • Frequently lift, slide, or stack cases that weigh up to 50-70 lbs.
  • Must be able to stand for long periods of time and be able to bend, stoop, kneel, and reach overhead.
  • Must be able to work under deadline pressure as organizational skills are the key to finding and providing merchandise quickly
  • Interpersonal skills – able to work effectively with others

Must pass a pre-employment background and drug screening.
