We are currently hiring Fiberglass Cast Technicians in Orlando, FL for upcoming projects. Pay is $22- $28.00 per hour based on experience and skillset.
The  Fiberglass Cast Technicians are responsible producing themed and architectural components through precision craftsmanship, artistry, and technical fabrication. This position covers multiple disciplines—including foam sculpting, mold fabrication, and fiberglass (FRP) casting—and offers opportunities to learn, grow, and advance within one of the industry’s most creative fabrication environments. .

- Monday to Friday scheduleÂ
- 6:00 AM- 4:00 PM (10 hour shifts)
- Duration- Long- Term
- OT Available- Saturday & Sunday; subject to change
FRB Cast Technician Responsibilities:
- Interpret blueprints or other design documents to set specifications for fiberglass products. Â Â
- Prepare and cut fiberglass materials based on specifications. Â
- Mix resins and hardeners to create a compound suitable for molding.
- Apply layers of fiberglass onto molds and use brushes or air guns to smooth out surfaces.Â
- Operate machinery to perform tasks such as cutting, laminating, and pressing fiberglass materials.
- Inspect finished products for defects, ensuring quality standards are met.Â
- Repair, replace, and modify fiberglass components as necessary.Â
- Produce complex molds, sculptures, and castings with minimal oversight.Â
- Train and support junior team members while maintaining workflow efficiency.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
FRB Cast Technician Qualifications:
- 3+ years of casting experience.
- Ability to read and interpret shop drawings, blueprints, and design references.
- Experience with materials such as foam, silicone, FRP, resins, and composite materials.
- Proficiency with hand and power tools in a production or fabrication setting.Â
- Strong attention to detail, craftsmanship, and quality.
- Excellent teamwork, communication, and time management skills.Â
- Must be able to stand, bend, and lift up to 30 lbs. for extended periods.Â
- Must be able to pass a drug screeningÂ
Work Environment:
- Shop and fabrication environment with exposure to dust, noise, and machinery
- Must wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times.Â
- Requires standing, bending, and lifting, up to 30 lbs. regularly.Â
