Shift: Night Shift | 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM (12-hour shifts)

In this role, you'll serve as a trusted resource for patients and families, helping them understand insurance coverage, financial responsibilities, and available resources while delivering exceptional service during critical moments of care.

What You'll Do
As a Financial Counselor I, you will:
✅ Assist patients and families with financial counseling and insurance-related questions
✅ Verify insurance coverage and eligibility information
✅ Explain billing procedures and payment options clearly and professionally
✅ Provide exceptional customer service in a fast-paced emergency department setting
✅ Support patient registration and financial clearance processes
✅ Maintain accurate documentation and patient records
✅ Help create a positive patient experience during every interaction
Qualifications
Education
✔ High School Diploma or GED required
Experience
✔ Minimum of two (2) years of experience in a financial, business office, healthcare registration, or customer service environment
✔ Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
✔ At least one (1) year of PC/Windows experience required
✔ Strong communication, problem-solving, and customer service skills
Licensure/Certification
✔ No certification required
