Position Overview
Under the direction of the Fleet Chief Mechanic, the Corporate Fleet Mechanic will perform the repair and maintenance of fleet vehicles.
Responsibilities
Essential FunctionsÂ
- Transports vehicles to and from the fleet shop, transports parts and supplies needed for fleet maintenance, and assists the chief mechanic with other assigned duties.
- Provides functions needed to improve fleet vehicle appearance including washing, vacuuming, and other detailing functions.
- Maintains reasonably regular, punctual attendance consistent with Orlando Health policies, the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards.
- Maintains compliance with all Orlando Health policies and procedures.

- Adheres to Orlando Health and departmental policies, procedures, objectives, quality assurance, and safety standards.
- Performs other duties as directed by the Corporate Fleet Manager.
Qualifications
Education/ TrainingÂ
- High school graduate or equivalent.
Â
Licensure/ CertificationÂ
- Valid Florida driver’s license with no more than six (6) points, at least 21 years of age, and must be insurable under the Orlando Health insurance carrier’s requirements and standards.
ExperienceÂ
- Two (2) years’ experience in the maintenance and repair of fleet vehicles.
