What you get to do:

This role supports guest satisfaction and park efficiency by ensuring an uninterrupted supply of tasty, wholesome and high-quality food and drinks to satisfy our guests’ needs. Working closely with our Division Strategic Sourcing Team, you will implement national contracts for materials and services while helping to identify and develop new strategic buying opportunities. You will advance process improvements and source vendors with a focus on improving cycle times, enhancing customer service, reducing costs, and maintaining quality and safety standards. You will:

  • Implement and develop national contracts, equipment/service, menu development, etc.

  • Source unique park offerings – from RFx through implementation

  • Oversee material master maintenance

  • Develop and maintain replenishment plan while maintaining inventory levels

  • Execute PO process

  • Lead supply base management

  • Train team on use of company systems and execution of PO process

  • Lead/train team in maximizing use of facility ordering systems (SAMMS)

  • Implement best practices to optimize cycle times and drive efficiencies through automation

  • Leverage metrics to measure compliance with best practices

  • Ensure supplier diversity and sustainability

  • Communicate professionally and effectively with Ambassadors, Vendors and our Guests

  • Perform other duties as assigned

What it takes to succeed:

  • Bachelor's degree

  • Professional certification in CPSM, CSCP, CSCMP a plus

  • Must have experience with Procurement processes, experience in a theme park environment a plus

  • Solid understanding of supply chain management processes with emphasis on demand planning, PO process, RFx, contracting and inventory management

  • Must have experience with SAP or other ERP system

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including ability to articulate ideas and issues clearly and concisely

  • Must be able to build and maintain strong relationship with stakeholders

  • Must be able to interact with team members at all levels

  • Integrity - must adhere to ethical and buying standards and regulations

  • Strong multi-tasking and time-management skills
