About the Role:

We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to help maintain a clean, welcoming, and well-kept environment at our church in Orlando, FL. This is a meaningful opportunity to serve your community and play an essential role in creating a space where people feel comfortable and inspired. Responsibilities:

Clean and maintain all church facilities, including sanctuaries, classrooms, offices, and restrooms
Sweep, mop, vacuum, and polish floors throughout the building
Dust and wipe down surfaces, furniture, pews, and fixtures
Restock supplies such as paper towels, soap, and toilet paper in restrooms and common areas
Remove trash and recycling from all areas and transport to designated disposal sites
Prepare and clean facilities before and after events, services, and gatherings
Report any maintenance issues or safety concerns to management

Requirements:

Prior housekeeping, janitorial, or custodial experience preferred
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
Strong attention to detail and a commitment to cleanliness and hygiene standards
Physical ability to stand, bend, and lift up to 25 lbs for extended periods
Reliable, punctual, and trustworthy with a professional demeanor
Respectful of a faith-based environment and diverse congregation
Flexible availability, including weekends or event-based scheduling as needed
