Pharmacy Technician (CPhT / ExCPT)

Location: Orlando, FL & Surrounding Areas (Multi-Site)Job Type: Full-TimeSalary: $40,000 – $50,000 annually

Overview

We are hiring a Pharmacy Technician to support the Orlando VA Healthcare System across multiple clinic locations. This role provides hands-on pharmacy services in a modern healthcare setting serving U.S. Veterans.

Travel between sites may be required.

Key Responsibilities

Process and fill prescriptions using pharmacy systems and automation
Support inpatient and outpatient pharmacy operations
Maintain inventory and ensure proper medication storage
Enter and manage patient prescription data
Troubleshoot pharmacy equipment and escalate issues as needed

Qualifications & Requirements

Active certification: CPhT (PTCB) or ExCPT (NHA)
1–2 years of recent pharmacy technician experience in a hospital or healthcare setting
Working knowledge of pharmacy systems, medications, and procedures
Must pass VA credentialing, background screening, and onboarding requirements
Must not appear on the OIG exclusion list
Ability to work across multiple locations as needed.
