Oversee the daily operations of assigned outlets, ensuring smooth, efficient, and cost-effective service.Ā
Maintain proper staffing levels to ensureĀ optimalĀ performance and guest satisfaction.Ā
Represent the Director of Food & Beverage in their absence.Ā
Ensure full adherence to departmental policies,Ā LoewsĀ standards, and service guidelines.Ā
Work visibly on the floor during peak periods whileĀ maintainingĀ active communication with the bar, kitchen, and room service.Ā
Guest ExperienceĀ
InteractĀ frequentlyĀ with guests to ensure satisfaction with their dining experience.Ā
Address concerns promptly and professionally, ensuring issues are resolved effectively.Ā
Maintain a welcoming environment and encourage team members to use guest names whenĀ appropriate.Ā
Financial & Inventory ManagementĀ
Oversee labor management, reviewing daily payrollĀ reportsĀ and adjusting staffing according to business levels.Ā
Prepare storeroom requisitions and ensure costs align with budgeted guidelines.Ā
Team Leadership & DevelopmentĀ
Interview, hire, train, coach, evaluate, and discipline outlet team members perĀ LoewsĀ standards.Ā
Lead new hire onboarding and ongoing training programs.Ā
Conduct performance reviews,Ā identifyĀ needs for improvement or advancement, andĀ establishĀ development goals.Ā
Facilitate team communication through departmental meetings and pre-shift discussions.Ā
Collaboration & CommunicationĀ
Communicate daily with the Executive Chef or Sous ChefĀ regardingĀ menus, reservations, large parties, and VIP needs.Ā
Attend required hotel meetings to stay informed on promotions, events, and cross-departmental updates.Ā
Evaluate trends and make recommendations for product, service, and operational improvements.Ā
Additional ResponsibilitiesĀ
Ensure cleanliness and maintenance of outlet spaces and equipment.Ā
Follow emergency procedures andĀ comply withĀ safety standards.Ā
Maintain compliance with grooming, uniform, and service expectations.Ā
Perform other duties as assigned.Ā
Your Qualifications Include:
Associate degree or higher in Hospitality or Food Service Management preferred.Ā
Two years of management experience in an upscale restaurant or hotel food service operation.Ā
Thorough knowledge of upscale food & beverage operations, service standards, and administrative requirements.Ā
Food Service Manager Certification (or ability to obtain based on state/county/local regulations).Ā
Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.Ā
Ā Ability toĀ maintainĀ effective operating controls to maximize efficiency and guest satisfaction.Ā
Ability toĀ workĀ a flexible schedule including weekends, evenings, and holidays.Ā
Professional, friendly demeanor with the ability to engage guests by name whenĀ appropriate.Ā
Monitor inventory levels andĀ maintainĀ proper product usage and control.Ā
