Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time Patrol Assignment in Orlando, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a fast-paced logistics and distribution location, where you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and help support a secure environment. You will remain visible to help deter security-related incidents while delivering outstanding customer service and communication. Pay Rate: $15.70 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and drivers by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, access activities, and/or emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting details and communicating with site contacts and/or emergency services as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout loading areas, warehouse spaces, parking areas, and perimeter points to help identify unusual activity and/or conditions that may require attention.
• Monitor entry and exit activity for personnel, visitors, and delivery traffic, verify credentials and/or shipping documentation when required, and report policy violations or suspicious behavior to the appropriate site contact.
• Support loss prevention and operational continuity efforts by observing package handling areas, reporting damaged doors, gates, lighting, and/or other property concerns, and completing required reports before the end of the shift.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
