Position Summary

Shamrock Plumbing & Drain Cleaning is looking for an experienced, dependable, and motivated Service / Re-Pipe Plumbing Helper to support our lead plumbers with residential service calls, re-pipe projects, and plumbing installations.

This is a hands-on role for someone who wants to continue developing their plumbing skills while working alongside experienced technicians. You will assist with installations and repairs, prepare tools and materials, maintain clean and organized job sites, and help provide a professional experience for our customers.


What You’ll Do

Assist lead plumbers with residential plumbing service, repair, and installation work

Support residential re-pipe projects

Help install water systems, fixtures, piping, and related plumbing components

Carry, stage, and organize tools, equipment, and materials

Prepare work areas and maintain clean and organized job sites

Assist with identifying, diagnosing, and repairing common plumbing issues under the direction of experienced plumbers

Follow company safety standards, procedures, and work instructions

Communicate professionally with customers and team members

Help protect customers’ homes and property while work is being performed

Support lead technicians in delivering excellent customer service

Required Qualifications

Previous plumbing helper or related plumbing experience

Dependable, punctual, and able to follow instructions

Ability to work safely and effectively as part of a field team

Strong communication and customer-service skills

Comfortable working in customers’ homes and maintaining a professional appearance

Ability to perform the physical requirements of plumbing helper work, including lifting and carrying tools, equipment, and materials; standing, walking, bending, kneeling, reaching, and working in positions necessary to assist with residential plumbing work

Legally authorized to work in the United States

Must pass a background check and drug screening


Preferred Qualifications

Previous residential service plumbing experience

Previous experience assisting with residential re-pipes

Experience with plumbing fixtures, piping, or water system installations

Interest in developing into a plumbing technician role
