Arnold Palmer Hospital Outpatient Pediatric Rehabilitation is seeking aĀ Bilingual (Spanish/English) SpeechĀ Language PathologistĀ to evaluate, diagnose, and treat speech, language, cognitive-communication, feeding and swallowing disorders in pediatric patients of all ages with varying acuity levels.
Responsibilities

Essential Functions
⢠Evaluates patients, gathering data from the patient, the physician, interdisciplinary team meetings if available, family and significant other persons and data sources.
⢠Develops treatment plans which integrate with the continuum of care and have specific goals and objectives and treats accordingly.
⢠Evaluate and recommend various types of augmentative and alternative communication equipment.
⢠Demonstrates knowledge and skills necessary to treat and provide care appropriate to the age of the patients served on the assigned caseload.
⢠Re-evaluates and modifies treatment plan and goals when appropriate.
⢠Ensures complete documentation and accurate billing using an electronic medical record.

⢠Communicates and collaborates with multiple specialty healthcare providers.
⢠Attends rehabilitation meetings, in-services, and any patient care meetings that are required for the assignment.
Qualifications

Education/Training
Ā
Masterās degree in speech/language pathology from an approved program.
Ā
Licensure/Certification
Ā
⢠Certificate of Clinical Competence or active engagement in the Clinical Fellowship Year requirements.
⢠Maintains current Speech Language Pathologist license in the State of Florida- provisional license is acceptable.
⢠Maintains current BLS/HealthCare Provider Certification.

Experience
Ā
Two years of outpatient pediatric experience preferred.
