How You’ll Make a Difference
When equipment goes down, our customers count on us to get it running again—and they’ll count on you. You’ll diagnose, repair, rebuild, and maintain material handling equipment in the field and shop. Your experience will help customers stay productive, equipment stay safe, and our team continue delivering the dependable service Briggs is known for.
What You’ll Do
Diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, and rebuild JCB equipment and major components, including engines, transmissions, hydraulics, electrical systems, brakes, steering, drive systems, and lifting systems.
Perform preventive maintenance, equipment inspections, failure analysis, and basic welding or fabrication while following manufacturer specifications and Briggs safety practices.
Deliver dependable service at customer locations and in the shop, maintaining the parts, tools, documentation, and company vehicle needed to get the job done right.
Put safety first every day by properly securing equipment, following OSHA, DOT, and company requirements, participating in safety meetings, and completing required technical training and certifications.
What You’ll Bring
3+ years of experience repairing designated equipment or working in a related industry; mechanical/trade school or technician certification is preferred.
Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills, including experience with precision measuring instruments; welding or fabrication experience is a plus.
Strong customer service and communication skills, knowledge of applicable equipment and operations.
A valid driver’s license, your own tools, and the ability to lift up to 75 pounds, perform physically demanding work, travel to customer sites.
