Animal Hospital at Baldwin Park is looking for an experienced Bilingual Veterinary Receptionist to join our team. We’re looking for someone who can provide exceptional service to our clients, strong support to our veterinary team, and clear, compassionate communication in both English and Spanish.

This position is ideal for an experienced veterinary or medical receptionist who thrives in a busy environment, can confidently juggle multiple priorities, and understands the importance of the front desk in creating an exceptional client experience. We are specifically looking for someone who is available to work the closing shift.

What Our Veterinary Receptionists Do

  • Welcome clients and patients with warmth, professionalism, and compassion
  • Assist clients with patient check-in and check-out
  • Answer phones and provide exceptional customer service
  • Schedule appointments and help coordinate an efficient daily workflow
  • Communicate clearly with clients in both English and Spanish
  • Help clients understand treatment plans, recommendations, and next steps
  • Maintain accurate client and patient information in the medical record
  • Process invoices and collect payments
  • Coordinate communication between clients and the veterinary team
  • Handle client questions and concerns calmly and professionally
  • Maintain an organized, efficient, and welcoming front desk
  • Collaborate with doctors, technicians, and teammates to help the hospital run smoothly

What You’ll Bring

  • Previous veterinary or medical office experience
  • Fluency in both English and Spanish
  • Strong customer service and communication skills
  • A friendly, professional, and compassionate approach
  • Ability to multitask and stay organized in a busy environment
  • Confidence communicating with clients in person and over the phone
  • Ability to remain calm and professional during stressful or emotional situations
  • Strong attention to detail and follow-through
  • Comfort working with clients, pets, and the veterinary team
  • Reliability and availability to work the closing shift
  • Experience with ezyVet is helpful but not required
  • A positive, collaborative, team-first mindset
