What it takes to succeed:
 

• At least 18 years of age
• Comfortable and able to work with all food types, including food allergens in any dining facility
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Communicate effectively with ambassadors, guests and leadership
• Provide exceptional guest service
• Bend, reach, twist, and turn with complete flexibility
• Stand for entire shift, up to 8 hours
• Move freely around work areas
• Work indoors/outdoors
• Push/pull up to 40 pounds
• Comfortable learning computer-based programs
• Complete and pass all training for Culinary department
• Comfortable completing all cleaning duties, including use of cleaning chemicals
• Available to work varying shifts/hours based on park hours, to include opening, mid, and closing shifts; night events until 12 a.m., weekends, and holidays
• 6 months full service restaurant experience required
• Bilingual preferred

• Take priority-seating requests and seat guest in Shark's Underwater Grill restaurant, by following all seating guidelines
• Communicate any special dietary needs and/or special occasions to the guests’ server upon seating
• Maintain extensive menu and exhibit animal knowledge to answer guests’ questions
• Complete any set-up and closing duties as assigned
• Clear and reset tables as assigned
• Assist management in maintaining quality standards by reporting any problems or concerns in your area
• Ensure work area is clean and safe at all times
• Complete other tasks as assigned
