The HVAC Runner/Driver ensures field technicians have the parts and tools needed to complete jobs efficiently. This role involves driving a company vehicle, managing inventory, and assisting in the warehouse. 

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver parts: Transport HVAC equipment, tools, and supplies to active job sites.
• Drive safely: Operate company delivery vehicles in compliance with traffic laws.
• Load vehicles: Safely load and secure heavy HVAC units, ductwork, and equipment.
• Pick up orders: Retrieve parts from local HVAC supply houses and vendors.
• Communicate status: Provide real-time arrival updates to dispatchers and field technicians.

Requirements

• Valid driver's license: Must have a clean driving record with no major violations.

• Physical stamina: Ability to lift up to 50–75 lbs regularly.

• Basic knowledge: Familiarity with basic hand tools and building materials is preferred. 

• Must be able to pass a drug test.

Preferred Skills

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.

• Previous experience in delivery driving or warehouse operations.

• Basic understanding of HVAC parts and terminology. 

Work Environment

• Split between warehouse environments and driving on public roads.

• Exposure to various weather conditions during outdoor loading and unloading.
