This role emphasizes hospitality, efficiency, and attention to detail to ensure every guest has a positive experience. Position Requirements Professional demeanor appropriate for a resort environment. Able to handle a multitude of tasks in an intense, ever-changing environment. Demonstrated ability to implement standards/procedures and sequence of service consistently. Previous café experience preferred. A food handling certification must be completed within the first 90 days of employment. Responsibilities Greet customers warm and provide friendly, engaging service. Prepare and serve beverages and food items to Starbucks standards Offer customer demonstrations and samples using brewing equipment. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café, including dining and work areas Follow health, safety and sanitation guidelines for all products. Follow store policy and procedures for operational flow at each station. Follow standards for merchandising, stocking, rotating and storing products. Follow cash handling procedures and cash register policies. Contribute to store goals for increasing sales and improving profits. Perform any other reasonable duties as required by management. Education High school diploma or GED Skills and Abilities Ability to communicate in the English language. Second language is a plus. Ability to work flexible schedules including holidays and weekends. Knowledge of proper chemical handling, cleaning techniques and use of equipment, machinery. Physical Requirements Able to work in a fast-paced environment. Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment, be physically fit in order to lift, pull and push items up to 50 pounds. Requires standing/walking/reaching and bending throughout shift. Must be able to work flexible schedules including nights, weekends, and holidays. Qualifications
