Overview:
This position provides expert technical and office support for survey projects, serving as a trusted advisor within the survey team.
Responsibilities:
Manage complex survey tasks and provide expert-level guidance to all levels of Survey Technicians.
Oversee the preparation of detailed drawings, exhibits, legal descriptions, and advanced calculations using AutoCAD Civil 3D.
Perform quality control reviews and ensure compliance with industry standards and project requirements.
Lead deed research efforts and abstract complex data for legal and survey purposes.
Act as a liaison between field crews, project managers, and clients to ensure successful project delivery.
Develop and maintain sophisticated databases of survey data for long-term project use.
Provide input on process improvements, training initiatives, and technology upgrades.
Qualifications:
Associate’s degree, certificate, or equivalent relevant experience.
8+ years of experience in a survey technician or related role.
Expert-level proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D.
Demonstrated leadership skills and ability to oversee multiple projects simultaneously.
Exceptional communication skills and ability to collaborate across teams and with clients.
Strong problem-solving skills and proven ability to resolve complex survey challenges.
Dependable, self-motivated, and capable of working under tight deadlines.
Ability to work Monday - Friday, 8am - 5pm with overtime as needed.
