Assistant Supervisor, Ride Technician

What you get to do:

• Utilize electronic knowledge and troubleshooting skills as related to all rides
• Be a team leader, setting good examples for team members in the promotion of good work performance, following guidelines of company and promoting good safety practices
• Perform maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of all rides
• Organize and plan daily workload of team; supervise all work performance of technicians
• Keep working areas neat, clean, and tidy
• Perform other miscellaneous duties as required

What it takes to succeed:

• Have high school diploma or equivalent
• Have at least two years of rides or mechanical experience
• Have a valid state driver’s license and be able to obtain a company driver’s license
• Have working knowledge of all Microsoft Office applications
• Be able to multi-task and adapt to changes in a fast paced work environment
• Have excellent written and verbal communication skills regarding technical knowledge
• Possess knowledge and understanding of pneumatic and hydraulic cylinders
• Be able to lift 50 pounds and push/pull up to 100 pounds with assistance
• Be able to stand for an entire shift
• Be comfortable working at heights up to 385ft
• Be able to walk uphill and work on a 35-40 degree slope
• Be able to repetitively climb stairs
• Be able to climb and work off of ladders
• Be comfortable working in and around water
• Meet all ride requirements and be comfortable test-riding all rides
• Be available to work varying shifts or hours based on park hours; i.e. be able to work opening and closing shifts
• Certified in park rides green tag procedures and competency tested
• Cross-trained in other maintenance fields
