Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesĀ
Provide safe operation of forklift to move, storeĀ materialsĀ andĀ maintainĀ stored materials in clean and orderlyĀ conditionĀ
General HousekeepingĀ
Participate on the spill response team andĀ participateĀ inĀ clean upĀ of liquid raw materials storageĀ tanksĀ
Operate trash compactor andĀ assistĀ vendors in preparing materials forĀ haulingĀ
AssistĀ in and coordinate the delivery of dry goods and rawĀ materialsĀ
Know and implementĀ appropriate SAPĀ transactions for inventory, receipt,Ā usageĀ andĀ controlĀ

Additional Duties:Ā
Receive, returnĀ railcarsĀ andĀ maintainĀ and clean storage tanks (Bulk Receiving)Ā Ā
Enter data into computer terminalĀ regardingĀ the movement of liquid raw materials from receiving dock into storage tanks (Bulk)Ā
Maintain stored materials in clean and orderly condition andĀ monitorĀ tank levels (Bulk) to ensure the availability of materials forĀ productionĀ
AssistĀ vendors in arranging and completing tank truck raw material deliveries, including unloading trucks, obtaining sample approval, and pumping transported materials into proper storage tanksĀ (Bulk)Ā

Qualifications and ExperienceĀ
Educational attainment equivalent to high school graduationĀ
Some inventory control,Ā warehousingĀ or material handling experienceĀ
Ā
Skills, Knowledge, and AbilitiesĀ Ā
Knowledge of material storage practices, including hazardous substances inventory storage, raw material and internal transfer storage and disposition proceduresĀ
Knowledge of OSHA, DOT, and environmental regulationsĀ
Knowledge of safety procedures and equipment operation proceduresĀ
Ability to organize andĀ maintainĀ raw materials and dry goods in proper storedĀ conditionĀ
Ability to safelyĀ operateĀ trash compactor andĀ forkliftĀ
Ability to understand and follow oral or writtenĀ instructionsĀ
Ability toĀ maintainĀ basic workĀ logsĀ Ā
Ability to communicate effectively with supervisors andĀ co-workersĀ
