What You'll Do

As a Maintenance Technician, you'll be responsible for maintaining the overall appearance, safety, and functionality of our apartment community. Daily responsibilities include:

  • Perform service requests and maintenance repairs promptly and professionally
  • Troubleshoot and repair HVAC systems, plumbing, electrical, appliances, carpentry, and general maintenance issues
  • Complete preventative maintenance to maximize equipment performance
  • Prepare apartment homes for new residents, including make-ready and quality inspections
  • Maintain community amenities, common areas, and grounds to company standards
  • Identify and address safety concerns throughout the property
  • Assist with emergency maintenance and participate in the on-call rotation as scheduled
  • Maintain accurate maintenance records and communicate effectively with management and residents
  • Work collaboratively with the Maintenance Supervisor and Community Director to deliver exceptional resident service

Qualifications

We're looking for someone who has:

  • High School Diploma, GED, or vocational certification
  • Minimum 1 year of apartment maintenance or related maintenance experience
  • Valid driver's license, current automobile insurance, and reliable transportation for business-related responsibilities
  • Working knowledge of:
    • HVAC systems
    • Plumbing
    • Electrical
    • Appliance repair
    • Carpentry
    • General building maintenance
  • Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Bilingual (Spanish) is a plus but not required
