WE WILL TRAIN YOU on the job for other modalities such as: Mammography, MRI, CT and DEXA!   We are seeking a Full Time X-ray Technologist Float to cover various locations in Tucson and Green Valley. Monday - Friday. Work Schedule:  Hours for this position are Monday - Friday 8 AM to 5 PM. Provide excellent patient care in a timely manner, communicate with radiologists and work efficiently with team members. Responsible for performing precise, prompt and high quality x-ray examinations. Selects appropriate imaging techniques and operates console and peripheral hardware, enters and monitors patient data. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks and works under general supervision. QualificationsThe applicant must be a graduate of an accredited school of Radiology Technology and have current Arizona State Licensure. We are seeking candidates that have the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with the following attributes: Customer service oriented with excellent written and verbal communication skills Sensitive to the needs of patients Ability to work as a member of a team Ability to follow the instructions of the Radiologist View images and capable of adjusting parameters to achieve high quality diagnostic imaging Ability to maneuver equipment Ability to prepare patients for procedures including moving patients Interventional Radiology experience is preferred.
