Pediatric Private Duty Nurse (RN/LPN)Â

 Best Care Home Services is seeking a compassionate and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide skilled nursing care for a pediatric client with a traumatic brain injury (TBI). We are looking for a dedicated healthcare professional who is passionate about pediatric care and committed to providing safe, attentive, and individualized support.
The ideal candidate will have previous pediatric nursing experience and feel comfortable caring for children with complex medical needs. This position requires strong assessment skills, attention to detail, and the ability to provide quality care while promoting the child’s comfort, safety, and overall well-being.

Responsibilities Include:
- Â Provide skilled nursing care according to the individualized plan of careÂ
-  Monitor and assess the child’s condition and report changes appropriatelyÂ
- Â Assist with maintaining a safe and supportive environmentÂ
-  Provide care related to the child’s medical needs and daily routinesÂ
- Â Complete accurate and timely documentation of all nursing services providedÂ
- Â Communicate effectively with the family, care team, and supervising nurseÂ
-  Support developmental needs and promote the child’s quality of lifeÂ
Qualifications:
âś… Current RN or LPN license in the state of South Carolina
âś… Minimum of 1 year of pediatric nursing experience required
âś… Experience caring for children with complex medical needs preferred
âś… Strong clinical assessment and documentation skills
âś… Compassionate, dependable, and patient-focused
âś… Ability to work independently while following the established plan of care
