Purpose and Mission

Responsible for monitoring, controlling, and maintaining wastewater treatment equipment, ensuring the safe and effective treatment of wastewater.

Key Activities and Responsibilities

Monitor and control the wastewater treatment process, including chemical dosing, aeration, sedimentation, and filtration.
Regularly inspect, troubleshoot, and maintain pumps, valves, tanks, and other treatment equipment.
Collect wastewater samples, perform laboratory tests, and record results.
Maintain accurate records of operational activities, maintenance, and incidents
Follow safety protocols, wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE), and promote a safe work environment.

Skills

Knowledge of wastewater treatment processes, equipment, and regulations.
Physical stamina for standing, lifting, and working outdoors.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

Previous Experience

Experience in wastewater treatment operations preferred

Qualifications and Education

High school diploma or equivalent.
Relevant certifications (e.g., Wastewater Treatment Operator Certification) preferred.
