Requirements
OVERALL RESPONSIBILITY:
The Assembler I – Painter is responsible for performing basic assembly tasks and preparing manufactured products for painting and finishing. This role ensures that components are properly assembled and painted according to specifications, contributing to the overall quality, appearance, and durability of the final product. The position requires attention to detail, adherence to safety and environmental standards, and the ability to follow established procedures in alignment with the company values and operating philosophy.
ACCOUNTABILITIES:·
- Prep and Paint Product – Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, masking, or applying primer as required. Apply paint or coatings using spray equipment or manual methods, ensuring even coverage and adherence to quality and safety standards. Maintain painting equipment and ensure proper ventilation and handling of materials.
- Component Assembly - Assemble parts and components using hand tools, power tools, and equipment as directed by work instructions or supervisors. Ensure proper fit, alignment, and functionality of assembled units.
- Follow all safe working practices working with hand tools, machines and vehicles.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Perform other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS (Education, Certifications and Required Experience):· High School diploma or GED
- Possess good mechanical aptitude and a can-do attitude
- Good physical stamina
- Excellent reading comprehension

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:·
- Heavy Work – Must be able to exert up to 100 pounds occasionally and 50 pounds frequently. Frequent standing and walking.
- Bending/Stooping – Bending body downward and forward by bending spine at the waist. Full motion of the body, lower extremities and back muscles.
- Ability to run a sand rammer for extended periods of time.
- Respirator - Must be able to use a respirator and may be exposed to dust and fumes.
- The ability to work off a 12 ft ladder
