MCRHC is a 25-bed critical access hospital, including a Level 4 Trauma Center Emergency Room seeing 3,200 visits annually. The Surgical Services department performs over 1,300 procedures annually, including specialties General Surgery, Orthopedics, ENT, Urology, Ophthalmology, Pain management, and Podiatry.

About The Job:

The Diagnostic Radiographer will provide patient care by producing diagnostic radiographs for interpretation by the radiologists in the Imaging Services Department at Mitchell County Regional Health Center.

Position: .9 FTE, 72 hours per pay period

The Shift: 8-hour Day shifts Sun-Saturday. Rotation of call hours

Pay: Starts at $27.77 increases with experience

Qualifications:

1. Education:
   1. Shall be credentialed in Radiography by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or registry-eligible.
2. Experience:
   1. No experience is required.
3. Special Skills, Competencies, and Aptitudes
   1. Must possess a current Iowa Department of Public Health (IDPH) Permit to Practice in Radiology.
   2. Must be flexible for the staffing of all shifts, weekends, holidays, and call duties.
   3. Must provide proof of Basic Life Support-American Heart Association (BLS Healthcare Provider) prior to employment and continue to maintain current certification in BLS.
   4. Complete Mandatory Reporting requirement within 90 days of hire.
   5. Renew Mandatory Reporting requirements every 3 years.
