JOB DESCRIPTION

Job Title: Mechanic (Avionics)

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Assisting a mechanic during repair or alteration of an article.
Reading, writing, speaking, and understanding the English language.
Following safety rules and procedures.
Keeping the work area clean and neat.

QUALIFICATIONS:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed above are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

High school graduate; some college and/or technical school desirable.

Avionics experience is preferred but not required.

LANGUAGE SKILLS:

Ability to read, write and understand spoken and written English. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to give verbal and written direction to assigned staff.
