Join Amcor as an Assistant Operator and help produce high-quality packaging with global impact.Â
Start by learning the basics in departments like Clean Room, Coating, Converting, Extrusion, Lamination, Rewind, Slitting, or Press. Through hands-on experience and training programs, you'll have the opportunity to grow into a Machine Operator role and cross-train in multiple areas—building a strong foundation for a successful career at Amcor.Â
Schedule:Â
12-hour shifts on a 2-2-3 shift schedule rotating bi-weekly from days to nightsÂ
12-hour shifts on 2-2-3 shift schedule straight nights

Pay: $25.96/hour + $1.20/hour night shift premium (when working night shift)Â
Overtime: 1.5x pay on Sunday and for hours over 40 per week Â

What You Will Do: Â
Assist Operator with all aspects of the jobÂ
Learn to operate the machine and serve as backup operator when operator is away from machine or on vacationÂ
Banding return stock, empty cores, headers, start-up rolls, and butt rollsÂ
Loading new stock on back of machine and unloading finished rollsÂ
Changing and cleaning silicon rollsÂ
Adjust slitters and tension for each jobÂ
Daily and weekly housekeepingÂ
All other duties as assigned by supervisor or managementÂ
What We Want From You: Lead the Pack Â
Preferred qualifications: Â
Previous manufacturing experience preferredÂ
Knowledgeable and able to understand a computer and programsÂ
Possess adequate math, measurement, and reading skillsÂ
Excellent verbal and written communication skillsÂ
Must be able to perform visual inspections including the use of measurement devices and ability to identify and distinguish colorsÂ
Commitment to teamwork, safety, and quality Â
