ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Responsible for assisting with building operations and maintenance for Downtown Location and the Tennis and Pickleball Center. Responsible for assisting with all YMCA facilities when other association property director and/or coordinator is unavailable. Assist with equipment and building maintenance for the Downtown location. Assist with hands on repair and maintenance of the Downtown location and the Tennis and Pickleball Center. Assist with implementation of yearly preventive maintenance program. Assist with planning and coordinator of special projects for annual pool shut-down. Assist in maintaining OSHA compliance guidelines. Maintenance Coordinator will participate in staff meetings. Maintenance Coordinator is required to be “on call” on a regular basis, both scheduled and as needed to provide services for entire Association. WORK ENVIRONMENT & PHYSICAL DEMANDS: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.  Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use a computer for extended periods of time and be able to communicate using a computer and phone/smart device.  The employee frequently is required to sit and reach, and must be able to move around the work environment. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds.  The employee will use power tools, equipment, Zamboni, lawn mowers, company vehicle, etc. on a regular basis. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, and the ability to adjust. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. Qualifications High School Diploma. Leader certification preferred. Valid Wisconsin Driver’s License. General knowledge of building management. Knowledge in the fields of: HVAC, electrical, plumbing, painting, carpentry and swimming pool operations. Knowledge of government regulations pertaining to health, safety, and ADA compliance. Ability to relate effectively to diverse groups of people from all social and economic segments of the community, including staff and members. CPR and First Aid certifications required within 30 days of hire.
