How you'll make an impact in this role

• Deliver compassionate, hands-on care by assisting patients with daily personal care activities, ensuring they feel supported, comfortable, and dignified throughout their stay.

• Guide safe patient transitions by assisting with admissions, transfers, and discharges to make every arrival and departure smooth and stress-free.

• Serve as a vital link to the care team by observing and promptly communicating any changes in a patient’s physical, mental, or emotional condition to nursing staff.

• Maintain precise patient records to ensure the entire healthcare team has accurate, up-to-date information for seamless care continuity.

• Create a safe, healing environment by keeping patient rooms clean, organized, and stocked with fully maintained medical equipment.

What minimum qualifications you'll need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required.  American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• Nurse Aide credentialed from the Wisconsin Nurse Aide Registry obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required. Certified Nursing Assistant credentialed from the state of Wisconsin, and in Nurse Aide Registry with eligibility to work in a hospital setting obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date. Additional certs may be required by specific job locations.

Education:

• High School diploma equivalency OR 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
  • Note: Required professional licensure/certification can be used in lieu of education or experience, if applicable.
