Job Description

As a Security Officer - Full Time in Oshkosh, WI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. Join Allied Universal as a Security Officer in a dynamic manufacturing and industrial location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help to deter security-related incidents, and support daily operations through strong communication and customer service. In this unarmed patrol role, you will bring integrity, teamwork, reliability, and a people-first mindset while making a meaningful impact each day.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access protocols, and appropriate emergency response activities within a manufacturing and industrial location.
• Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting details and communicating with site contacts and Allied Universal leadership as needed.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout production areas, warehouses, parking areas, and perimeter points to help identify potential security-related concerns and report maintenance or access issues.
• Monitor entry and exit activity, verify credentials and/or visitor information, and help to deter unauthorized access to restricted areas in accordance with location policies.
• Support daily operations by observing equipment yards, loading and shipping areas, and common spaces for security-related issues, then preparing clear reports and passing along relevant information to the appropriate personnel.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
