Job Summary:  

The TPM Supervisor ensures the team achieves quality objectives and production metrics while managing employee training, adherence to quality guidelines, and safety procedures.

 

Essential Duties for the TPM Depot Supervisor

  • Accurately documenting all KPIs and other metrics
  • Conduct daily audits, track, and label items implementing 5s methodology, and maintain building organization.
  • Assist in the direct management of the onsite relationship with our TPM Partner.
  • Utilization of audit and collected data to enhance and improve internal processes.
  • Train new operators on the PECO quality spec and how to sort and repair pallets. 
  • Complete refresher training on PECO specifications as needed. 
  • Ensure all forklift operators have passed the PECO operator certification program. 
  • Track and follow up on all employee training.
  • Ensure all employees perform duties in a safe/timely manner, following established safety protocols.
  • On call for system emergencies and trouble shooting.
  • Responsible for the control of inventory for other pallet companies.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Education, Skills, and Experience:

  • Graduation from an accredited high school or General Education Development (GED). 
  • Good attention to detail and organizational skills are necessary.
  • Ability to drive quality with employees.
  • Ability to drive a forklift is required.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suites and Excel

Physical Requirements:  

  • Employee will need to be able to lift 65 lbs repeatedly.
  • Ability to memorize and apply PECO pallet specifications to pallets. 
  • Standing for long periods. 
  • Must possess a sense of urgency and want for success.

Work Conditions: 

  • Work is performed in a fast-paced production environment. 
  • Employee will need to be able to lift 65 lbs repeatedly.
  • Must be available to work additional hours and Saturdays as needed.

Rotating Schedule:
Shift A: Tuesday to Friday; 5:00 am - 3:30 am
Shift B: Tuesday - Friday; 10:00 am - 8:30 pm
Rotating Schedule: 3 days off / 4 days on & 4 days on & 4 days off
