Role & Responsibilities:

· Position is located in a manufacturing plant.

· Assists in the monitoring and execution of the Engineering Department and Plant safety programs.

· Fulfills Project Manager role in preparing and following to completion all assigned Capital Authorities and Job Sheet requests.

· Utilizes technical training to advise on and design various process improvements as required by the operating department.

· Assists Engineering Department supervision on routine maintenance assignments and follow-ups required for daily operations.

· Assists the Engineering Manager in planning and implementing routine and non-routine maintenance expenditures.

· Exposure to direct supervision involving plant engineering crews as well as outside contractors.

· This position is designed to provide the incumbent with manufacturing exposure for positions of greater responsibility.

Qualifications & Requirements:

· Undergraduate degree in Engineering required.

· Prior full-time or co-op/intern experience in a manufacturing environment strongly preferred. • Proficient computer skills (i.e. Microsoft Office, Drafting etc.)

· Strong verbal and written communication skills.

· High level of organizational skills with the ability to effectively manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks.

· Must be a self-starter, detailed-oriented, and have the ability to work both independently and within a team to meet deadlines.

Open to relocation for advancement opportunities with the company.

Rate of pay may be adjusted based on the qualifications and experience of the candidate.
