Job Overview:
Maintenance planner is responsible for planning and scheduling all plant maintenance activities. Processes and prioritizes work orders, examines and determines best approach for work order completion. Estimates steps, man-hours required, and number of mechanics required to complete work order. Liaison between production, engineering and maintenance. Maintains records for analysis.

Shift and Schedule: This is a first shift position working Monday-Friday. Must be flexible to work overtime and weekends as needed.Â

Responsibilities
Â
- Maximize equipment reliability by use of planned maintenance.
- Quickly return equipment to OEM design.
- Collect data for each piece of equipment to determine the MTBF (Meantime Between Failure).
- Schedule all maintenance activities on the production line to ensure there are no breakdowns.
- Work with the team to drive autonomous maintenance on the production line.
- Print, assign, ensure completion of, confirm and TECO all preventative maintenance tasks in SAP – EAM on a daily / weekly basis.
- Work with the facilities stock room to ensure parts are in stock or whether they need ordered in order to complete work orders.
- Contact vendors for machine parts to obtain quotes.
- Complete purchase requisitions for ordering of machine parts.
- Organize and have parts available to make repairs.
- Work with the machine operators and mechanics to determine what is needed to complete repairs on the equipment.
- Operate within the repairs and maintenance budget for the production line.
- Identify maintenance related issues on the production equipment and create action plans to have them corrected.
- Performs other duties as assigned.Â

Requirements:
- Maintenance Planning experience in high-speed manufacturing environment preferred
- 4 years' Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint experience
- CMMS tool experience required; Â SAP preferred
