The University of Kansas Health System, Division of Dermatology, is seeking a full-time Dermatologist to join our growing team. This position offers the opportunity to practice in a dynamic academic environment where exceptional patient care, education, and research are seamlessly integrated. The clinic is located in Overland Park, Kansas, and provides an outstanding setting to build a rewarding clinical practice within one of the nation’s leading academic health systems.

About the Position

  • Comprehensive Clinical Practice: Engage in a broad scope of dermatology, from high-volume general (“bread and butter”) dermatology to the management of medically complex cases.
  • Robust Clinical Support: Physicians are supported by a dedicated care team that includes a scribe, registered nurse, and medical assistant, with an excellent staffing ratio of 2.5 FTE support staff per 1.0 FTE physician.
  • Research & Innovation: Opportunities are available to participate in clinical trials, investigator-initiated studies, or to pursue independent research interests, based on your career goals.
  • Academic Collaboration: Work alongside colleagues across the Division, Department, and School of Medicine while teaching and mentoring medical students, residents, and fellows.
  • Professional Growth: Physicians may expand their practice into advanced subspecialty areas such as Immunodermatology, Complex Medical and Inpatient Dermatology, Dermato-Oncology, and Transplant Dermatology. A Clinician–Investigator Track is also available for interested candidates.

Required Qualifications

  • MD or DO
  • Completion of an ACGME-accredited Dermatology residency
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Dermatology
  • Eligibility for medical licensure in Kansas and Missouri
  • Prior clinical experience in dermatology preferred
