POSITION SUMMARY:

The Kitchen Supervisor supports the daily operation of kitchen and food service areas to ensure quality food production, sanitation compliance, inventory control, and an excellent guest experience. This position assists with supervising kitchen team members, maintaining food safety standards, supporting event and concessions execution, and helping ensure efficient back-of-house operations in a high-volume environment.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO, THE FOLLOWING:

  • Directly align with the venue mission, standards, and core values
  • Supervise daily kitchen operations, food preparation, and presentation to ensure quality, consistency, and timeliness
  • Assist in opening, operating, and closing kitchen and food service locations throughout the venue
  • Monitor food quality and portion control on an ongoing basis
  • Ensure proper food handling, sanitation, cleanliness, and compliance with all local and state health department requirements
  • Maintain clean, organized, and properly stocked kitchen, cooler, freezer, and dry storage areas.
  • Assist with weekly and monthly inventory counts and supply ordering
  • Support scheduling, training, mentoring, and supervision of kitchen and food & beverage team members
  • Hold team members accountable for safety, service, cleanliness, and execution standards.
  • Communicate equipment maintenance and repair needs in a timely manner
  • Assist with catering, concessions, and special event food service operations as needed, including setup, service, breakdown, and restocking
  • Help resolve guest concerns, complaints, and product issues in a professional and service-focused manner
  • Maintain accurate records related to inventory, food safety, and operational practices
  • Support leadership with additional duties and special projects as assigned
  • All duties as assigned by management

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 2+ years of food & beverage or kitchen experience in a lead or supervisory role preferred
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong leadership, organizational, and time management skills
  • Ability to maintain focus and make sound decisions in a high-volume, fast-paced environment
  • Ability to prioritize tasks, work under pressure, and support a team-oriented environment
  • Availability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed

WORKING CONDITIONS AND PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

  • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds waist high
  • May be required to stand for extended periods of time and frequently walk, bend, stoop, squat, push, and pull
  • Must be able to work in a kitchen environment with exposure to heat, cold storage, and intermittent noise
  • Will be required to operate a computer and standard kitchen equipment
