We are looking for a Lead Software Engineer to join our team onsite in Overland Park, KS. What You'll DoÂ
As a Lead Software Engineer, you will play a key role in leading and contributing to the full software development life cycle for large, complex initiatives. You will partner with engineering, product, business, and technical leaders to deliver solutions that support current needs while helping shape future technology direction.Â
Lead and actively participate in the full software development life cycle for complex, enterprise-level projectsÂ
Design, develop, enhance, and support applications using .NET, C#, SQL and related technologiesÂ
Implement architectural and technical platform changes that improve scalability, reliability, performance, and maintainabilityÂ
Partner with business and technical leaders to understand future solution needs and contribute to technology strategiesÂ
Provide technical leadership, coaching, and guidance to engineers across the teamÂ
Mentor other technical associates to strengthen engineering practices, technical aptitude, and team engagementÂ
Research and recommend emerging technologies that support innovation, automation, and continuous improvementÂ
Establish and promote best practices for Agile delivery, team planning, code quality, and structured executionÂ
Collaborate across cross-functional teams to solve problems, remove obstacles, and deliver high-quality solutionsÂ
Participate in a rotational on-call schedule, which may require availability outside standard business hoursÂ

Required QualificationsÂ
Bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant work experienceÂ
At least 4 years of hands-on software development experienceÂ
At least 4 years of experience with full lifecycle development using Agile methodsÂ
Strong experience with .NET, C#, and SQLÂ
Experience designing, developing, testing, and supporting scalable software solutionsÂ
Ability to work onsite in Overland Park, KSÂ
Ability to collaborate effectively with engineering teams, product partners, business leaders, and cross-functional stakeholdersÂ
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to make informed decisions and act decisivelyÂ
Ability to plan, organize, prioritize, and deliver in a fast-paced environmentÂ
Strong communication skills with the ability to influence, coach, and guide othersÂ
Preferred QualificationsÂ
Experience with Netsmart EHR solutions or healthcare technologyÂ
Experience modernizing applications, platforms, or enterprise systemsÂ
Exposure to cloud technologies, APIs, integrations, DevOps, CI/CD, or automation practicesÂ
Experience mentoring engineers or providing technical leadership within an Agile teamÂ
Passion for improving healthcare through technologyÂ
