Job DetailsJob Location: PharmcareUSA of Ohio dba WChest - West Chester, OH 45011Position Type: Part TimePharmcareUSA in West Chester, OH is seeking a Part Time Pharmacist Intern PharmcareUSA is a growing, privately operated National LTC pharmacy provider operated by pharmacists.   Essential Functions: Will train with Pharmacist with inputting (when appropriate), filling and dispensing of all prescriptions. Will strive to perform all filling and / or IV compounding of prescriptions with accuracy and reasonable speed. Filling of prescriptions per rules and regulations of all regulatory entities. Assist callers when appropriate or enlist Pharmacist to assist if appropriate. Prepare medications to be delivered to facility per delivery schedule. Assist with ordering of medications from wholesaler along with proper inventory management Assist with Medication Returns and E-Kit management. Will comply with all Corporate Initiatives and utilize provided tools/resources as appropriate. Other duties as assigned. QualificationsJob Specifications: Comply with State Board of Pharmacy rules and regulations at all times Maintain required Continuing Education credits Maintain current licensing by the state(s) in which he/she practices Physical Demands: Must be able to routinely use standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines. Must be able to constantly operate a computer and other office equipment up to 100% of the time; Regularly required to talk and hear in order to communicate effectively over the phone and in person; Must be able to see 100% of the time to recognize medications, detect inaccuracies, and observe the work of others; This position is very active and requires standing for long periods, walking, bending, kneeling, and stooping; Must be able to lift and/or transport materials weighing up to 25 pounds, up to 10% of the time; Must be able to tolerate normal office/pharmacy environment and exposure to various medications PharmcareUSA is a national, closed-door, long-term care pharmacy business with locations in multiple states.
