We are currently looking for a Software Solutions Support Engineer based in our home office in Longwood, FL.  This position is responsible for providing technical support, coordination, implementation, and management of specific software engineering projects while ensuring consistency with company strategy, commitments, and goals, ensuring the consistent operation of software systems, providing technical assistance, and troubleshooting software issues. 

Responsibilities Include:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for stakeholders and customers, addressing questions and concerns regarding the enterprise suite of applications.
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose issues reported by users through service support systems.
  • Develop and maintain a detailed product backlog, prioritizing features and user stories based on customer feedback, market research, and internal stakeholders' input.
  • Clearly articulating and communicating product requirements to the development team, ensuring a shared understanding of the desired outcome.
  • Actively participate in Agile ceremonies, such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives, to maintain a strong relationship with the development team
  • Implement industry-leading software technology that will drive Sentry Management functions and initiatives
  • Identify and coordinate assignments of internal resources and external partners to meet software project requirements
  • Responsible for the overall success of testing, including result verification and release sign-off of software projects as needed

Applicants Must:

  • Have a bachelor’s degree (preferred) OR  a combination of education and experience in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a relevant technical business discipline, 5 years minimum
  • Relevant industry certifications in areas such as project management, cloud technologies, computer platforms, systems and networks, data services and/or security a plus
  • Understanding of accounting processes, systems, and terminology preferred
  • Merchant Payment Processing/Technology knowledge preferred
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Suite, including but not limited to: Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook, One Note, Planner, SharePoint
  • Experience with Homeowner Association Management preferred
  • Experience with multi-state operations desired
  • Ability to sit or stand for long periods of time
  • Must be able to lift 50lbs
