Assembler

Job Summary  

Operates mud flap hydraulic press, plastic welding for standard and custom-ordered fenders, and operates ShopBot robotic machine. Assembles toolboxes, fender mounting kits, and Fast Flap kits. Installs light covers and reflectors on fenders. Customizes and packages floormats.  

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: 

• Works safely and be actively engaged in the site safety programs.  
• Set up plates and operate hydraulic mud flap press
• Assemble poly toolboxes by adding latch and other hardware components.
• Assemble fender mounting kits and Fast Flap kits.
• Operates plastic welder for standard and custom fender parts.
• Loads and unloads sheet on and off of ShopBot robot, loads and runs programs.

Minimum requirements 

• High School diploma or equivalent 
• Must have a good command of the English language, oral and written
• Ability to read, fill, and document completion of order requests.

• Good time management and self-management skills

Physical demands 

• Required to be standing on floor pad and/or walking on concrete floors up to and occasionally exceeding 8 hours per day.
• Regular lifting up to 50 pounds with occasional lifting of up to 75 pounds
• Frequent bending, reaching, and lifting.
