The Machine Operator I, will operate production or warehouse machines that are similar and require limited set up and basic machine adjustments, perform preventative maintenance and assist in troubleshooting machine issues following established policies and procedures and frequent guidance. In this role, you will maximize throughput and produce quality product while following all food safety and regulatory polices as required.

Job Type: Full time

Shift(s) Available: Day Shift 12hr and Night Shift 12hr both 2-2-3 schedule.

Compensation: Starting $25.00/hr. and up depending on experience.

Shift Differential: $0.75/hr

A Typical Work Day May Include:

Setup similar machines with limited setup requirements.
Feed materials into machine, operate and monitor short-cycle machine operation with frequent guidance and make adjustments to ensure product specifications are met.
Use hand and power tools to perform preventative maintenance, troubleshoot basic machine issues, escalating broader machine issues.
Track production and quality records both manually and electronically.
Operate powered mobile equipment including forklift or pallet jack.
Unload and prepare product for movement of finished product.
Understand and adhere to all safety policies and procedures including equipment lockout-tag outs.
Other duties as assigned

What You Will Need

Eligible to work in the United States without visa sponsorship
Be 18 years or older
Ability to understand and communicate in English (verbal/written)
Basic computer skills
Ability to work in varied indoor and outdoor conditions which may include heat, cold, dust, loud noise, etc., with the use of personal protective equipment (PPE)
Ability to work in elevated areas (4 feet and above)
Ability to perform physical job duties which may include bending, lifting up to 50lbs., kneeling, climbing, crawling, and twisting, with or without reasonable accommodation
Ability to work overtime including holidays, nights, weekends, or different shifts with advance notice

What Will Put You Ahead

Basic experience troubleshooting various mechanical components and systems
Prior experience in production related work
Prior experience operating forklifts and/or similar equipment
Prior experience mixing materials or working with raw materials
Prior experience operating a pallet mill
