What You’ll Do:

  • Ensure the safety procedures are followed
  • Incorporate good manufacturing practices established at the location
  • Required to follow established HACCP procedures developed at the location
  • Responsible for the correct blanch of presoaked beans for process.
  • Moves materials to and from blanch / soak area within a storage facility using material handling equipment.
  • Ability to maintain daily activity log sheets
  • Cooker Operations
  • Sauce Preparation
  • Demonstrate good lift truck skills, dewatering, and blancher equipment in an efficient manner.
  • Detects malfunction of equipment and inform appropriate personnel.
  • Become knowledgeable of all dry bean standards to ensure finished product grades.
  • Monitors and adjust soaked bean volume to meet daily production time requirements
  • Responsible for the proper mixing procedures and concentrations of soaking additives (CALC)
  • Performs other duties as assigned or requested by manager.

 

 What You’ll Bring:

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions
  • Computer literacy
  • Forklift operating experience
  • Through individual and team efforts, enthusiastically work toward the continuous improvement of his/her job, work area, department, and Lakeside as a whole. 
  • Fully participate in TAL by "living" Lakeside's Standards of Conduct and being an active member of operational and project teams.  By action and work, clearly and visibly demonstrate the spirit of teamwork, cooperation and respect for others in all business transactions and exchanges.
